Product Description Ronseal One Coat Fence Life gives colour and protection to rough sawn sheds and fences for up to two years, in just one coat. Directions Prepare for application by ensuring a warm, dry day above 10°C and cleaning the wood surface. If the wood is weathered, consider applying a second coat after the first one dries. For application, you can either brush or spray the stain. When brushing, apply a thick coat to your wood without spreading it too far and wait for 1 hour for it to become showerproof. If spraying, use long, sweeping, horizontal arm movements for an even finish. The stain is 100% rainproof in 1 hour and keeps its color for up to 2 years.

- Before you start, make sure it's a warm, dry day, above 10°C and the wood is clean and dry. Cold, wet weather stops the stain from drying. Use a stiff brush to get rid of any dirt.
- To use, you can either brush or spray your stain. When brushing, get lots of stain on your brush and apply a thick coat to your wood but don’t spread it too far. After one hour, it will be 100% showerproof. It takes 4 hours to dry fully. If your wood is weathered, you may need to apply a second coat. After the first coat has dried, review it to see if you need a second one. When spraying, pour the liquid into the tank. Pump it up or turn it on and start spraying. Use long, sweeping, horizontal arm movements for an even finish. Move along the full width of the fence panel, drop down and repeat the process. Overlap each pass by 50% for even coverage.

**Q: Can this go in a spray gun**
A: Yes. I just sprayed some trellis and it was fine.

**Q: Can this be applied on tanalised wood?**
A: Hi
I used it on some gates and fences and part of the wood on fence was tanalised it did take to it but not quite as good as the other wood areas. Saying that though it did still cover it ok. One some areas you might need two coats if you want a darker look when you apply it it might look more like a darker grey dependant on wood too. Must admit though it does look good when all done.

**Q: Is it black or dark brown**
A: Tudor Black Oak is black in colour. However, it does not cover up previously painted rough timber very well. If you are applying it to new unpainted timber it will cover as long as the wood is completely dried out. If you are trying to cover a previous colour, particularly red or green then 3 coats later and you'll still see the original colour coming through.
Advice would be to use the more expensive Ducksback as this gave me a really black finish. I would also advise you to ensure the lid is firmly on, turn the tub upside down and give it a really good shake to ensure the pigment is well mixed through then stir it occasionally as you work. Stirring alone may not mix the pigment. Hope this helps?
