By the time the first bag was full and ready for replacement, the inside and outside of my vacuum was covered in a very fine dust. I cleaned the vacuum with a damp rag and put in a new Febreze bag. After using the vacuum a couple more times, I had the same result, so I ordered these bags in hopes of solving my nasty dust problem. I replaced the paper bag with one of these cloth-like Clean Fairy bags after cleaning up the vacuum with a damp rag once again. It's been about a week of daily vacuum use, and the inside AND outside of my machine is still dust free, with no loss of suction! This tells me that these bags hold the fine dust particles INSIDE THE BAG where they belong instead of allowing it to escape into the air. I actually threw away the rest of my Febreze paper bags! I'll be buying these from now on -- as long as they're available, and NEVER going back to the mediocre paper vacuum bags. These are MUCH CHEAPER and MUCH BETTER QUALITY than the expensive brand name bags. Stop searching and just buy these if your vacuum uses Bissell style 7 bags.
