Because they are just plain black you can get away with wearing them casual or on a night out and look great. They are soft and don't need breaking in. I live in these I wear them day in day out and walk for miles in them with the dogs on all sorts of terrain. So they are comfy for walking a long distance (for me anyway). Considering how much I wear them they don't need to replacing very often, I usually get through two pairs a year. True to size. They are wipe clean or shove in the washing machine on a rinse if really bad.
