I think if the position of the mesh panels were reversed with the dot-dot-dot vents, this would be much better for him (my cat) as a passenger.—There are now a few threads that are loose on the straps. Long threads, so it’s probably another month or two of daily wear before I’ll either have to stitch them up or buy a new one. A note on the fit of the straps: Even at their loosest, they’ll still crandle your armpits like a newborn. They are TIGHT.—The pack isn’t QUITE wide enough to keep my cat contained comfortably. One more inch would be PERFECT. My American Tabby cat is a slender yet active 9 pounds and he doesn’t enjoy the ride because he has no room to turn and face the window easily.—The bubble is PERFECT. Holy hell, he does look like a little astronaut. However, for a teenage cat or higher (my cat’s at two years) I would recommend a slightly longer version of this bag. I bought this pack for the kitten I am bringing home in a few days (she will be almost 3 months old). I will update this review if need be once I try it out. There are certainly pros and cons right off the bat:PROS- Color is VERY accurate. I can appreciate this because a lot of times they are not. The light pink is exactly as pictured and is beautiful.- The harness/leash clip inside of the backpack is made of metal and not plastic like many other packs so it is very sturdy.- The little rubber feet on the bottom help it to stand up and give it some grip.- There seems to be a good amount of airflow. I would still worry on a hot day but overall it's pretty good.- The straps have a medium amount of padding. I find this is good as it is not too bulky but won't dig into your shoulders.CONS- The "bubble" and "screen" options for the front are very hard to change. I don't know if I got a defective model or if this is how it is supposed to work but it was very hard to get the retainer ring off in order to put the bubble on and once the ring is clipped on there is a lot of rotation and play in it. Again, not sure if this is defective or how it is designed.- The bag was bent and folded inside the box and resulted in the sides being deformed. I have had the bag put together for a week or two and waited to write this review to see if it would resolve itself but it has not.- The smell is very strong but if my kitty decides she doesn't mind then I don't either! ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible backpack.
