In the beginning I was a little concerned about the quality of the Piscifun line due to the fact it seemed it was not color fast because it turned my fingers black when I spooled my reel. I thought for sure it would wash out as soon as I put it in the water and stain everything black while I was fishing. I was pleasantly surprised that didn't happen although, the line did eventually end up a dark grey rather than true black. I put a lot of faith in this Piscifun line trying it for the first time considering it's first test was under tournament conditions at a local Halibut derby this past weekend 5/25-5/26 2016. I was bouncing 3lb cannon ball weights with spreader bar and large herring with squid hoochie's. Didn't win 1st place but did win 2nd place with a 69.7lb Pacific Halibut for a $2500.00 prize. The Piscifun line performed beautifully with absolutely no problems. All the knots held great with no slippage and I had no break offs or any line failure at all. I plan to try more of their lines on all my salmon rods this summer and into the fall here in the NW. I would recommend Piscifun braided line to anyone that has or may be considering trying something new.
