The small rack holds eight plates and four bowls - all my dinner dishes - in about a quarter of the previous shelf space. The large one holds serving bowls and small platters. I had expected to need a third rack, but everything (admittedly, not a lot) fits in these two. What makes these racks different from others is that the dishes are sideways, so they're easily accessible inside a cabinet. I've gained cabinet space, but more important the dishes are so much easier to access. I live in an RV, and I've been stacking dishes with non-slip foam in between. I may continue to use the foam when we move, but this will be a lot more convenient.

**Q: How high off the surface are the rails in the large plate holder?**
A: Large plate holder’s overall height is approx 8 inches. The rail edge from the top rack is 5 1/2”, from the ground is 1 3/4”. For example, if set 8” plates in the kitchen cabinet, the cabinet shelf must be at least 11 inches tall.

**Q: How many 10" plates will fit in size Large?**
A: Large plate holder can organizer up to 10 plates. Of course, its capacity depends on your plate thickness and shapes. Large size is 6.3" L x 4.5" W x 7.9" H for you to refer to.

**Q: Does this work for square plates?**
A: It does. I have square plates.

**Q: Does it keep dishes from moving around  when driving the rv**
A: It doesn't keep the dishes from moving. In addition, check the height of the overall dish rack with the dishes inserted. My dishes wouldn't fit in the cupboard standing upright!

Great product to keep your plates from taking up too much room. It really took out room from my cabinet. Already assembled so I just washed it, put it in my cabinet and started organizing. Only reason it’s getting a 4 is because $25 might be too much for it, maybe $15. I mean, it got the job done & I already bought it but it’s a pretty simple tool I could have probably been able to get it cheaper somewhere else.
