These are lower cost than others on eBay and online, but basically the same flares as all the others you will find like this. These come with inner fender liners which many others do not have. These are well built and should last a very long time. I am not sure if the light assembly is interchangeable with the OEM JL assembly which worries me if the lens cracks (due to rocks) or they fail electrically. I hope I don't need to find out. I ordered JL covers online to protect these against rocks. I also painted mine to match my body color. Also note that I had to do a small modification to the lower bracket (uses a screw and bolt and I switched it to a nut plate and bolt to help with installation). Obviously, you will have to electrically tap into your front turn signal and marker lights for these. Also note that you only use the Red, Yellow, and Black wires on the fender side. The green and blue wires appear to be for the daytime running lights, but I did not use them, and the instructions don't mention connecting them. Other brand instructions mention using these wires (tapping into the side marker light), but I did not want to connect them as I was not 100% sure about these wires. Pros: - Well built - Fits without mechanically modifying your Jeep - Comes with all the mechanical hardware needed (and some extras) - The lights and most of the hardware (except a backet) are pre-installed. Other brands require you to install the lights and lower bracket. - Includes fender inner liners - Turn signal and daytime running lights are LED. Cons: - Instructions are extremely poor. The pictures are also small and poor quality. I had to go online to see how to remove my OEM fenders. I also found install videos for other brands of these fenders to figure out how to install. There are brackets that bolt onto the light housing which are in the instructions, however, it took some time to figure out how to install these since the pictures are such poor quality and the instructs are terrible. There are no videos on how to install the inner liners, so you have figure that out on your own. The instructions barely mention the liners. - I needed to drill out the mounting holes for the fender inner liners. This is not mentioned in the instructions. There are bumps where you need to drill (not all of them are used by the way) which makes it easier. Not all the bumps line up correctly so some trial fitting is needed. I had to remove some of the clips and bolts on the fender to use those holes for the liner install (re-installing the clips and bolts to hold the liner). - Other brands say allocate 2 hrs for installation. It took me 4 hrs. I spent most of my time mainly figuring out how to install this correctly since the instructions are really bad. Installing the liners took the longest time since there were basically no instructions. - The wiring instructions are extremely bad. I had to use a multimeter to find the correct wiring. You will also need to tap into your factory harness (electrical hardware not provided) to wire in the fenders. If you can't do basic electrical work and know how to use a multimeter, then you should not buy these fenders. I have a JL style front grill, so I don't have the JK front lights. I bought the front light connector online, wired the fender lights into the connector, and plugged it into the factory plugs. This worked very well for my needs. The old JK front side marker lights and connector are not used. I just tucked the old harness into the side of the Jeep under hood out of the way. I will probably secure them better in the future. Here is the wiring on the fender side: Black = Ground Red = Running lights (daytime running lights and side marker) Yellow = Turn signal White = daytime running lights (not used) Green = daytime running lights (not used) You'll have to use a multimeter to figure out the connections on the Jeep side for the fenders. Also note that these do not match the rear fenders. Some kits come with both the front and rear fenders but you pay a lot more money for kit.
