Review: Both of my axolotls love this food - Both of my axolotls love this food. We've gone through a few different brands and pellet sizes in the time we've had them (almost 2 years) trying to find a palatable staple food source, and these are the ones they actively seek out to eat in the tank - they really seem to enjoy searching for these tasty pellets. They float for a short time and add a sense of hunting to meal times as they drift around before falling to the bottom. Nice quality, comes in durable, sealable and secure packaging (as my cats seem to love the smell of this food too!) Great value for money too, and so convenient being able to have it delivered when we live quite far from the nearest axolotl food stockist.

## Features

- SPECIALIST ADULT AXOLOTL NUTRITION: Expertly developed to meet the unique physiological requirements of adult Axolotls. This 49% high-protein formula provides the concentrated energy needed for adult maintenance, ensuring your pet remains at a healthy weight with a strong, robust body condition.
- ENHANCED WITH STIMUNE & MINERALS: Fortified with our proprietary Stimune complex and a precise blend of vitamins and minerals. This "immune-first" approach helps build natural resistance to common stressors, while balanced Phosphorus (1.49%) and Calcium (1.7%) support long-term skeletal health and gill vitality.
- HIGH-ATTRACTANT INSECT & OIL BLEND: Formulated with a rich mix of fish oils and insect-based feed to create a powerful scent trail. This high-attractancy profile stimulates the Axolotl's natural hunting instincts, encouraging even the fussiest eaters to strike and feed immediately.
- FAST-SINKING FOR NATURAL FEEDING: These pellets are engineered to sink rapidly, landing exactly where your Axolotl feeds—on the tank floor. The texture is designed to soften quickly for easy swallowing while remaining stable enough to prevent water clouding and messy residue.
- FEEDING & WATER QUALITY CONTROL: Achieve a cleaner tank environment with our low-waste formula. Feeding just twice a day (as much as they can eat in 2 minutes) ensures maximum nutrient uptake. Any uneaten pellets stay intact for easy removal, preventing ammonia spikes and protecting your water's delicate biological balance.
- ANALYSIS Protein: 49%, Fat: 10%, Fibres: 1.4%, Ash: 9.2%, Phosphorus 1.49%, Calcium 1.7%, Sodium 0.3%.

Great item size is as described but have not used it yet so dont know if the pellets are the same as the smaller bag or if its smaller pellets that bulk up the weight
