Holds 6 easily. **Q: Would this item accommodate a regular sized spray bottle of cleaner? Like Windex?** A: NO, a bottle of Windex or something similar would NOT fit in the remote control caddy. None of the comparments are wide enough to accomodate a regular-sized spray bottle. **Q: one for coasters also** A: You could put them in but only a few and in the taller you would have a hard time getting them out. **Q: Is this a good size? Does it have to be put together?** A: It is already put together. I think it’s a good size. It holds my kindle in the back, two remotes, and pens and earphones.
