It includes a digital thermometer for precise temperature monitoring, substrate, feeding dishes, calcium dust, hides, and plants, all designed to create an optimal environment for juvenile tortoises. Available in two sleek colors, this cost-effective kit offers everything needed for a thriving tortoise setup.

## Description

The kit comes with the Monkfield Tortoise table, measuring 109cm x 61cm x 23cm (43" x 24" x 9"), providing plenty of room for maneuvering, as well as giving great ventilation for the tortoise. There is an adjustable light bracket and clamp lamp holder, to hold the mercury vapour bulb. Mercury Vapour Bulbs offer a 3-in-1 service of heat, light and UVB in one bulb, which is perfect for this set up, though does mean that it cannot be used on a thermostat, as the UVB would also be restricted. Due to this, it is essential that the bulb is placed at the right height to get the correct temperature, and the adjustable light bracket ensures this is possible. The bulb should ideally be around 8 - 16" away from the shell of your tortoise, so adjust the height to get the right temperature and then check the distance is within range for optimum UV levels. We have provided a digital thermometer so that you can accurately check the temperature within the table.
