The kids helped put the stickers on the flags which reinforced learning. Once these were on, we put the states together with ease, then put the flag capitals in. The flags stay in well. The flash cards are good quality and coated with a finish to make them durable. The cards have instructions on how to play games with them if you want to. I like that they give facts and the state abbreviations to learn too. The kids also enjoyed using the rubbing pencil to discover facts on the cards. I will say it takes a bit of pressure to rub off but very doable for my kids. The rubbing comes right back in a couple seconds but it gives enough time to read before it does. The foam puzzle does have a smell to it, hopefully that will go away over time. All in all this is great and has everything I’d want in learning states and capitals!
