Hooked a rig up to the tailgate cable bolt to pull a dent out and it bent the bolt before any damage to the clip. After this all that had happened to the clip was just some small scratches. Its still aligned perfectly. Very surprised that it actually held up to that. Im sure it could have withstood more force. The whole thing was very sketchy but i would use it again for something similar now knowing it can handle it. Large and not flimsy. Has some weight to it. Locking mechanism is perfect, not something that’ll open up on it’s own. Bought a few for my pup. Large German Shepard puppy that’s only gonna get bigger. As a secondary clip in case the one that comes attached to tether snaps. I don’t climb, so I don’t know how these will do for that.
