I don't see why it wouldn't work for that. The hose is pretty short for our needs but we are watering our yard. It's not lightning fast mind you -- but it's pretty good. Much faster than just opening the spigot that comes with our rain barrels. I hope this helps. **Q: Will this pull water from a 200 gallon water tank to run pressure washer off it?** A: I don’t believe so . I don’t believe it could keep up with a pressure washer. I use it to remove water from pool during winter months and it has a low flow low pressure stream . **Q: Would this work to lift water out of a well (100ft)?** A: No, the max suction depth is 7m/23ft **Q: How loud is the pump?
