In my view, its a little creepy but she thinks its just the ticket - she uses it for practicing some pretty complex hairstyles and has even uploaded the result to Instagram (so I guess the dummy has completely fulfilled its purpose).To look at, its a soft-ish plastic dummy, slightly smaller perhaps than a real head, with long blonde synthetic hair. The dummy clamps to a table top with lightweight clamps - the clamps are fine for regular use but are not rigid in the face of serious pushing/pulling.The hair is fine and appears quite easy to shape and sculpt (but I'm no expert here) and will hold the plaits and twists correctly. Its also longer than it appears in the pictures - plenty long enough for some intricate designs. The only downside so far is some initial loss of hair strands but not sufficient to impact its use.
