The life time warranty is very minima, only covers leaking but given leaks happen when the outer fabric frays thats likely to be after some use, and general wear and tear is not covered for any period of time. Little did I expect it to be the first use. I bought mine for my driveway which is block paving and coated in a urethane finish so I'd not expect it to fray after one use. Still useable but not exactly what I'd consider remotely hard wearing. No leaks at the connection points and extends okay hence the three stars. I can not see my £50 lasting very long and fully expect to have to buy a standard hose in the very near future.
