A: You dont want to mount this to a car window. At least not if it is for holding a pistol. Will the magnet hold? Yes, they are very strong, Will someone see your weapon and steal it or call the police? YES.

Does the job but I was expecting a better rubber material. The material is very thin and on one of the magnets the rubber was covering the whole thing. See pictures.

Pretty strong magnets. They hold my S&W MP 9mm Shield really well. They could be a tad stronger though as they don't hold my Ruger 45cal very good. It has to be positioned just right so it doesn't slide down the magnet in a vertical orientation. So far I like it.
