I only needed to replace the buttons so kept the original back. The PCB slotted in nicely with no need of further modifications. The buttons are flexible enough and don't need to be firmly pressed for them to work like some of the reviews for other items on Amazon. It feels as good as the original, so it will be interesting to see how long they last. I made the mistake with my last key taking that to Timpsons, which cost me £50 with new battery.
