It finally went out so I researched several different varieties and chose this one. So far I've cooked eggs, pancakes and fried chicken tenders and this pan works amazing. **Q: Can you fry in this?**
A: Yes, I make chicken cutlet parm in mine. After frying the chicken cutlets , I remove oil and then layer for chicken cutlet parm. Enjoy!

**Q: How many elements and in what pattern? Our presto has no element in middle leaving cold spot. Bacon gets cooked on edges first and not in middle.**
A: There are no visible heating elements, but there does not seem to be any cold spots.  It cooks great and I am very happy with it.

**Q: is it dual voltage? I mean Can I use it back in India? please advice**
A: I don't know about India...but you would need an adapter to use in Europe.  This is standard USA electrical.

**Q: Where is this product made?**
A: I don't know i think Black and Decker is an american company but dont know where thier manufacture plant is....

Bought this skillet to use as my cooktop. My electric stove cooktop burners doesn't heat up like they use to. So I chose this particular one because of the brand and the positive reviews. Works really well and is non stick! It can be used to for breakfast, casseroles and simmering. Washes well with soap and water. Easy to put together with a small screwdriver. The only thing is you would need to put it on a non slip mat or towel to keep it from sliding. The bottom of the handles are not designed with any type of material to prevent that. I use one of my baking pans to sit it on and it holds up fine for me. Also the cord should have been a wee bit longer for it.
