A: Yes! I've been using several in my home for Hue E27 bulbs and they work perfectly :)

A: Yes, it's totally passive and is just an adaptor

**Q: I’m wondering what the width measurement of the middle bit of the converter is? (I notice that the largest part is slightly tapered)**
A: The bulb end tapers from 33.30mm to 31.18mm the centre piece is27.23 mm and the pin end is 21.21mm. Hope this helps.

**Q: Can I use this adapter to install a pendant light?**
A: No
They are for allowing you to use a E27 in a GU10 lamp holder
