It does not stay matte for more than an hour or two. It also does not work well with any of my foundations. I find that when I try to apply a liquid or cream foundation over this primer it cakes up and does not smooth out as it should. I have also tried this primer with my airbrush foundation and find that after a couple of hours my face is an oil slick and my foundation is melting off.
