Equipped with 6-inch rear wheels for easy transport and a 30-foot snow throw distance, it offers gas-powered performance with eco-friendly convenience. Ideal for sidewalks, decks, and light to medium snow removal, it’s a low-maintenance, powerful tool designed to save your back and time. ## Description The Earthwise SN70016 is a 12-amp corded snow shovel designed to clear fresh snow from relatively flat, hard surfaces around the home, including sidewalks, walkways, decks and smaller driveways. It clears a path up to 16 inches wide and 8 inches deep, moves up to 430 pounds of snow per minute and throws snow up to 30 feet under suitable conditions. Adjustable directional vanes help guide snow discharge, while 6-inch rear wheels and an auxiliary handle support movement and positioning. Snow deeper than the housing can be removed using narrower or layered passes. Wet, packed, crusted or icy snow can increase the load on the motor and may reduce clearing and throwing performance. Remove stones, branches and other objects from the clearing area before operation. Use an outdoor-rated extension cord that complies with the gauge and length requirements in the operator’s manual. If thermal protection activates, stop operation and follow the manual’s cooling and restart instructions. ## Features - 12-AMP CORDED MOTOR – Moves up to 430 pounds of snow per minute and clears a path up to 16 inches wide and 8 inches deep. - UP TO 30-FOOT THROWING DISTANCE – Adjustable directional vanes help control where snow is discharged; actual distance and direction vary with snow and surface conditions. - RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS – Designed for fresh, loose snow on relatively flat, hard surfaces such as sidewalks, walkways, decks and smaller driveways; wet, packed, crusted or icy snow may require narrower or layered passes. - WHEELED DESIGN – Two 6-inch rear wheels and an adjustable auxiliary handle support movement, positioning and transport between clearing areas. - CORDED OPERATION AND THERMAL PROTECTION – Includes a cord-retention hook and thermal protection; use an outdoor-rated extension cord that meets the gauge and length requirements stated in the operator’s manual. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B073V482GY | | Best Sellers Rank | #153,135 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #83 in Snow Blowers | | Brand Name | Earthwise | | Clearing Width | 16 inches | | Color | Gray | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars (2,732) | | Engine Type | Electric | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00052909710160 | | Ideal Snow Depth | 8 inches | | Included Components | Corded 16" Wide 8" Deep 12-Amp Snow Shovel, 120V/60Hz 400 RPM Motor Throws 430 lbs of Snow Per Minute | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 41"D x 16"W x 38"H | | Item Type Name | Corded Snow Shovel | | Item Weight | 7.25 kg | | Manufacturer | American Lawn Mower Company | | Manufacturer Part Number | SN70016 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 2 year limited warranty | | Maximum Throw Distance | 30 feet | | Model Number | SN70016 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | UPC | 052909710160 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 120 volts | | Wheel Size | 6 inches | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Earthwise - **Color:** Gray - **Engine Type:** Electric - **Ideal Snow Depth:** 8 inches - **Item Weight:** 7.25 kg - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Power Source:** Corded Electric - **Product Dimensions:** 41"D x 16"W x 38"H - **Voltage:** 120 volts - **Wheel Size:** 6 inches ## Images ![SN70016 12-Amp Corded Snow Shovel, 16" Width - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71uAWmCJpDL.jpg) ![SN70016 12-Amp Corded Snow Shovel, 16" Width - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31nEL7R6E-L.jpg) ![SN70016 12-Amp Corded Snow Shovel, 16" Width - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41SYiM8lOoL.jpg) ![SN70016 12-Amp Corded Snow Shovel, 16" Width - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31gP9bjOCGL.jpg) ![SN70016 12-Amp Corded Snow Shovel, 16" Width - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31vOYGNSTRL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: For the electric corded 16" snow blower shovel, do you need any type of clean out tool device, for the front area chute? only answer if you know.** A: Review, Thank you for your question. There is no designed device. However, when you do clear out any build up, please make sure the item is unplugged. Earthwise/American Lawn Mower Company **Q: Can you change the direction of the snow being thrown? If so, by how much? Can it take a hard left /right turn for throwing like a snowblower would?** A: LGQ, Thank you for your question. The baffles can be moved to the right or the left, but they can not be adjusted to a 90 degree angle like larger snow throwers with a chute. Earthwise/American Lawn Mower Company **Q: How many belts on this snow blower** A: There are two belts , one small toothed belt from electric motor to a jack shaft, and a ribbed longer but thinner belt from jack shaft to a plastic pully that is lobe connected to the external blade that spins and throws the snow. Small toothed belt is the most likley to fail if you over do it. the belt number is: HTD 126-3M-18 **Q: Can I leave it outside unprotected during the winter?** A: Since this unit has an electrical motor, I would not recommend exposing motor to the elements for long periods. The unit takes up less room than a hoover vacuum and I keep mine stowed in the back corner of my unheated garage year round. Note, any snow removal devices should be at ambient outside temperatures prior to use or snow will freeze to the surfaces. If covered unheated storage is not an option, I would cover loosely with a modified plastic tote to protect motor from dirt & moisture, while allowing unit to dry after use. Anything mechanical if left outside unprotected winter or summer will corrode, deteriorate & become unserviceable. KEEP DRY as much as possible. ## Frequently Bought Together - Earthwise SN70016 Electric Corded 12Amp Snow Shovel, 16" Width, 430lbs/Minute - Yard Master Outdoor Extension Cord, 120 Foot Light Duty, Water Resistant, Flexible, 16 Gauge 2 Prong, Lime Green, 9940010 - Bayco KW-110 Cord Reel, Orange --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/63796804-sn70016-12-amp-corded-snow-shovel-16-width](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/63796804-sn70016-12-amp-corded-snow-shovel-16-width) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
