## Description

The Original Greek Pepper Mill is a unique piece of European tradition that is functionally the best in the world and handmade to exacting standards. While other mills simply crush the peppercorns, this unique grinding mechanism grabs each peppercorn and breaks it in half, then breaks each piece into even smaller pieces, maximizing flavor and aroma. Based on a coffee mill that was used by Greek soldiers in the early 20th century, the design includes a flanged base for stability and a durable all-metal body. The tool steel grinding mechanism adjusts from fine to coarse. Available in copper and brass. Manufactured by a small, family-run company in northern Greece. Assembly Instructions: The handle is stored inside the mill body during shipment. Please unscrew the nut at the top of the mill to remove the lid, take out the handle, replace the lid, place the handle on top, and screw the nut down tight.

**Q: Is there really a difference between the salt grinder and the pepper grinder other than size?  Are they interchangeable?**
A: No, they are not interchangeable. The pepper mill is specifically made to grind pepper and the mechanism is steel. The salt mill has a nylon sleeve that is made to prevent corrosion from the salt. The pepper mills will corrode is you use salt in them.

**Q: Is this made by the same company that makes the atlas pepper mill?**

**Q: Is the salt and pepper grinder adjustable for smaller/larger chunks after grinding?**
A: Hello!

You are able to adjust the pepper grinder to your preferred size by adjusting the screw on the bottom of the mill. Our salt grinder is non-adjustable.
