They ware a perfect replacement for the originals. I had two chairs to repair, so I bought two sets. They were vacuum packaged and sorted with two top lines and two bottom lines in each. The lengths were consistent to within an inch. I rebuilt my chairs by cutting loose one side and mirroring the original.
