It's not complicated, the cover is very nice (feels like leather) and paper is heavy-ish, no bleed through. I can have all my appointments scheduled clearly on the monthly pages, then all my personal whatever within the weekly pages, this suits me very well. There are note pages throughout, rather than them being all in the back-which drives me crazy. That being said, two things I wish... ONE, I wish the lettering was larger on the front. For someone who uses these repeatedly, it's easy to get two planners confused, especially during those 4 transitional months. Also, I'd totally buy an academic 12 month, like July-June... I nearly always waste those Aug-Dec pages, because I'm renewing the planner for the next 17-month timeframe. For a parent with kids in school, the true academic planner would be perfect, same cover, same format, etc... something to consider.
