You would need adapters and wouldn't get much distance out of it. **Q: Hi I have a 4” one horse deep well. I want to move this around on 5 acres. Will this run off a water hose ?** A: What do you mean by water hose? If you mean 1.5 inch or 2 inch, then yes it will. If you mean a garden hose, then you'll have trouble. **Q: Can you recommend or drop a link for a tripod that works well with this sprinkler head! All of the tripods seem to come with unneeded sprinkler head!** A: I built one out of 2 inch pvc pipe.
