The basic waffle recipe in the accompanying booklet is great too, except for some reason I can only ever get 15 of the 16 squares filled from the batter LOL. I admit I was a little put out by the price, as it's almost the same as buying a stand alone waffle maker and I had already spent quite a bit for the original appliance.
