**Q: Are the lids as well as cups No. 5 Polypropylene? Do you know if they will melt at 250 degrees F (121 C)?**
A: The lids will start to melt yes, but the cups maintain their shape in a hot towel caddie for a instance-under 2 hours. I'm a massage therapist, so I use them for dispensing massage/treatment products and keeping them warm.

**Q: Do the covers keep the cups from leaking even a little bit?**
A: I did not have any problems with leakage. I have used them for transporting pickles, making jello shots and putting condiments in to take for lunch.

**Q: Will these hold hot items?  Looking to use them for a Chili/Soup Cook-off...**
A: No, these are definitely not made to hold hot foods. For chili or soup, you would be much better off with styrofoam or waxed paper containers.

**Q: Does it come in a box**
A: They came inside the Amazon box. But they were in a plastic bag.
