He explained that the ingredients were far superior to other brands available. There is now so much controversy and promotions regarding dog food that it’s difficult to try and find a food that you feel happy with. So besides the recommendation I did a bit of homework, I discovered that the food which we had used previously advised by our Vet - Royal Canine, was also the sponsors of the practice, therefore a slight conflict of interest, you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours and together we’ll make a whole load of money 💰. As most of us know today owning a dog is big business, from purchasing a puppy, puppy training, through to insurance, feeding, boarding, walking if necessary, and their final days. I previously owned two dogs a Labrador and a Newfoundland, whilst I lost my lab two years ago one month shy of 14 yrs, I lost my Newfoundland at Christmas at the age of 9 1/2. So we have a new pup a Goldador (Golden retriever X Labrador, mongrel) and the world of dogs is even more confusing, so my advice check the ingredients, do some investigation what’s behind some of the leading companies and bear in mind it’s all big business. NB I find my pup has a liking for poached eggs, melon (pips removed) carrot, cheese (dairylea/babybel if you don’t won’t to get your hands sticky) and the end of an apple.Simpson puppy food has kept my puppy well fed and satisfied. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Five Star Premium Puppy Food *by E***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 February 2015* Delivery:The food arrived during the dates stated by amazon so,no problems there &,it was packaged well too.Simpsons Premium Puppy Food Chicken & Brown Rice 12kg:Simpsons puppy food has highly digestible ingredients which means less foodand less waste to pick up if your pet does well on it.With human grade freeto run chickens from the UK in the ingredients,this insures a high grade meatprotein content,along with no genetically modified ingredients(ie fruit,veg,oats,etc),no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives,the manufacturershave gone for the best all round content.The only possible downside I can see so far is,the size of the kibble.....it`s small as in,slightly smaller than garden peas size.Now this "has not"been a problem for our puppy who is a mastiff X so,he`s quite a big boywith a BIG mouth but,some dogs may "inhale" this kibble because of it`s size.Conclusion:This is a top grade premium puppy food,the quality of the ingredients is reflectedin the price however,with free UK delivery this IS still value for money.The only "possible" issue maybe the size of the kibble for some owners/dogs asmentioned before.Recommended five stars,thank you for reading.PS.I will update this review if there is any change concerning the effects from theproduct plus,I should have mentioned that this is a British manufactured product so,it`s great to support a British company & that,the inside of the food bag has a foilsurface so after opening,the contents will stay fresh longer than a non-foil bag. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Puppy *by S***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 October 2019* My puppy loves this food.
