UV light is not much use I think, it is so feeble. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 May 2020* Bought 3, one did not work.The LED light comes on first, when LED light switches off, then the UV light comes on. The UV light is really feeble and will only affect the side of the pan on which the device is placed, and not even the whole that side. If you are purchasing this just for the UV function then I would not bother. If you are purchasing just for the LED light and movement detector then it is OK, and fit for purpose. It could do with a slightly stiffer part that you bend over the edge of the pan.
