This is part of our Goumet Range of Cheese and we have taken the finest medium mature cheddar and blended this with local Wincle Beer Companies 'Old Hag' Porter Stout Ale and added wholegrain mustard to create a truly wonderful cheese. This cheese is a taste sensation invented in-house and making the most local of ingredients. Think English Rarebit on toast or melt with Creme Fraiche for a great fish sauce. Finished in a black wax truckle and will make a unique, great and thoughtful gift. Great washed down with a pint of Old Hag!Try our Old Hag Ale Chutney or our Gift Box of Old Hag, Beer, Cheese & Chutney.Vegetarian Society Approved. Contains Gluten. Did You Know....  Wincle Brewery is based in the small village of Wincle a few miles outside Macclesfield. The micro brewery is on the banks of the River Dane in the Peak District. Great taste and very nice, at £10 per cheese though its not cheap, found same cheeses elsewhere for £5 each, so as nice as it is advise shop around as you will get the same item for half the price.

It was quite nice eating it as it was, but on a whim I put it on a pizza I was cooking. It was amazing and I’ll definitely use it in cooking in the future! Can’t wait to experiment with it further
