The phone is so easy to answer and end a call by opening and closing the flip phone. It has a long battery life, and she recharges the phone in the convenient cradle that is kept next to the landline. The phone is unlocked; she uses the pay as you go regular size T Mobile SIM card. She lives in an area with poor reception and this phone has good reception. I just bought it for my mother so I don't know about durability.
