The app can be a little confusing. EDIT: It turns out that Wi-Fi is the primary method for connecting this phone to the app. Bluetooth is just used as part of that process. It does mean that in order to use the app, you still need to be connected to the cameras Wi-Fi I had a second problem with the SD card failing after not even a day of use, but I did contact support and they are sending a new one. So kudos to support for that. The camera itself works well. The pictures are clear and in one minute chunks, so if you do need to download for an incident, you'd probably want to make note of what time it is when it happened. All in all is a good camera system. I've only installed it with the USB power, , so have not had a chance to try it out while hardwired. The images are clear, so no complaint there. It was fairly easy for me to get installed both on the front and rear cameras. They include clear stickers so that the camera can be removed if necessary at a later point without leaving adhesive stuff to the windshield. No problems with them staying on while driving. The camera itself --and support-- get five stars, but I wish they would address the lack of true Bluetooth connection to the app (Android) I would recommend it for the price.
