See below the way I choose the star rating. These traps seem to only trap those silverfish, that decide to venture in the box. It does not attract them or motivate them to kill themselves. I placed 4 of them in places where I found silverfish before: in the washer/dryer room, under my bookshelf, in the bathroom cabinet, and the attic. I caught ONE so far in the 2 month I put the traps out. In the future I would look for something that actively attracts them and then captures them. Star Rating: ***** Exceeds expectations and is better than thought **** Meets expectations and would buy again ***Some minor flaws but ok for the price, would not buy again ** Terrible and I only kept it when the price is right or because of the lack of better alternative *Returned the item because it doesn't work as advertised, is broken, or quality is extremely poor
