I followed the instruction to charge 2 - 3 hours. I turned it on and the color would change from warm white to cool white. It is beautiful. Instead of putting it in my room, I put it in the staircase area and it shines. It saves energy to turn on the light when I go up and down. The best part is no battery is needed. Its easy to operate and the two different color modes are great for just before bed or for regular light. I only use it briefly just before bed so i only need to charge it once a couple weeks or so. It also charges pretty quickly. The only negative is that the stand doesn't make it easy to set it down after you turn the light off and its dark. There have been times that i've had to turn my cellphone on to see where the stand is. I like being able to have this mobile though as my bf doesnt have a light on his side of the bed. It feels very sturdy and seems like it will last a while.
