Prevue Pet Products 224W Crystal Palace Luxe is a modern and elegant home for small to medium-sized birds such as parakeet, lovebird and cockatiel. The front doors are made of glass and provide see-through visibility and a crystal clear view of your gorgeous feathered friends. The roof opens and converts to a playtop when you add the perch. This cage is easy to clean, since the rooftop and cage-body mesh all snap-on or snap-off with ease. The glass front doors open smoothly and stay securely shut with the magnetic closures and a windbell lock. This cage features both horizontal and vertical wires, which allow for optimal climbing. The Crystal Palace Luxe includes: two wood dowel perches; two food/water cups; and a pull-out grille and debris tray. Ideal for tabletop use, convenient handles are included for when you need to move the cage. Measures: 24 1/2" long, 16 1/2" wide and 21 3/4" high. Wire spacing is 1/2".

The overall design of the cage is great. The frame of it is metal with top and bottom being glass. With those parts being plastic, it is very well made and does not look cheap at all. The cage itself is perfect for my parakeets. Plenty of room to fly and have extras like perches, toys, and ladders. Only issue I came across was the plastic food and water containers which was an easy solution. My birds had trouble with both of them being on the perch and one would try to go on the top of the top part of the container and slid off easily from the type of plastic it’s make of. I bought a platform that fit under both the food and water containers and now they can both feed from it! Overall a great purchase though!

Assembly was pretty simple. I was worried that the drawer to discard the waste would be unstable but it’s been perfect and slides perfectly. The overall design of the cage is great. The frame of it is metal with top and bottom being glass. With those parts being plastic, it is very well made and does not look cheap at all. The cage itself is perfect for my parakeets. Plenty of room to fly and have extras like perches, toys, and ladders. Only issue I came across was the plastic food and water containers which was an easy solution. Decent size, could be a little larger. It would be nice if there was a seed guard on the sides because the seeds get everywhere. The glass doors are good quality. It's a beautiful cage. One huge benefit to this design is that the doors open wide open. The birds are far less scared when you reach your hand in. The birds can also easily see you amd become comfortable with you. The birds can comprehend the glass. They don't run into it.
