Can you put an engraving at the bottom?** A: For holding the sort of coin you mention I think yes. I use my frame to hold a $10 gold coin about the size of a £2 and it works very nicely. It won’t hold a very light slim coins eg a shaved 1/2 sovereign. The frame is black plastic and therefore will NOT be suitable for engraving. Hope that helps. **Q: What is it made of? Is it plastic? Thanks** A: The black frame itself is made of a thick high quality plastic.
