Review: Gateway flashlight for a brighter world! - The SC31 pro is well built, has a nice sturdy side switch that controls all functions. It uses the anduril UI, which can be used in simple mode (on/off, lockout, battery check, smooth/stepped ramping, turbo) or advanced mode in which you can custom a lot of parameters (eg. Disable turbo, change the switch button intensity or even turn on auto lockout) also let you access some interesting features (different strobes), some very remarkable like the candle mode (the light strobe mimics the light that comes from a candle) or the lighting mode ( the light mimics a thunderstorm pattern). One would never thought a simple flashlight would be able to have some many features. So let's go to the performance, it uses sst40 LEDs, they are pretty bright and matches pretty well with the reflector, it has an impressive power for its size. At turbo it takes a few minutes to get hot as any turbo flashlight, but the medium and high modes are more than enough for daily use. Overall, a good flashlight to start in the flashlight world, with plenty of features for the price point, the built-in rechargeable battery and onboard charging seal the deal. Pros - anduril (brightness ramping, simple and advanced mode choice) - onboard charging Cons - the USB charging flap seems fragile (I charge my batteries in a dedicated charger) Neutral - smooth reflector as only option - no boost/buck driver (but the stock driver performs pretty well - more emitter choices? Review: Good bright compact flashlight - The Sofirn SC31 Pro Flashlight is the best compact flashlight I ever owned, It seems to be well constructed of quality materials plus the lens is made of glass. I especially like that the side button switch stays dimly lit by 2 green LEDs continuously when the flashlight is off. This way you don't have to fumble around in the dark trying to find the switch. The flashlight is very bright at full brightness level and gets very dim at the lowest level. I like how the brightness level ramps up/down smoothly.by pressing and holding the button. It's so easy to operate. Further, I tested the included 3.7V 18650 Li-Ion battery in an external battery charger, and it slightly exceeds it's rated capacity of 3000mAh when fully charged at 4.2V. I have other Sofirn flashlights and all their batteries meet or exceed the mAh capacity rating stamped on the batteries.. Finally, I'm really satisfied buying the Sofirn SC31 Pro Flashlight, and I recommend it.

A: Hello! Thanks for your questions. About your questions, please try the steps below at first and please contact us through your order if the flashlight on your hand still can not be turned on. Please rest assured all sofirn products have one year warranty.

Step 1: Please clean the contact of this flashlight and battery with alcohol. Please check if the isolation paper was removed.

Step 2: Please make sure you screw the head and tail cap of your flashlight tightly.

Step 3: : Please replace a battery(if you have) or plug in a USB Type-C cable(without batteries) to figure out if the defective part is the driver or battery.

**Q: Can you charge this with a usb c to usb c cable? I have the old version and it does not and was wondering if this one does.**
A: It charges with my usc-c to usb-c charger I got with my phone.

**Q: how do you enable SOS?  The button push/hold diagrams are confusing as hell**

Please click 9 times and hold (10H: 9 clicks + hold) from simple UI to advanced UI(simple UI with normal function, advanced UI with multiple function). ON OFF, 3 clicks to battery check mode, 2 clicks to temperature check mode, 2 clicks to beacon mode, 2 clicks to SOS, 2 clicks bact to battery check mode. The Sofirn SC31 Pro Flashlight is the best compact flashlight I ever owned, It seems to be well constructed of quality materials plus the lens is made of glass.
