This device fits on front of the hive, simply thumb tacked on (tacks included). Directs bees from hive up front of hive through 1 or 2 little open doors. Robbers following the scent of honey still try to enter straight into original hive opening but are blocked. They can't figure it out but hive inhabitants come and go from different access. Vents are in front of beehive entrance. Nice clean white plastic with very easy install. Side tabs can be cut off for 8 frame hive. ### ⭐⭐ This product has major flaws that they didn’t disclose in their ads. Know what you are buying! *by K***X on September 24, 2019* Not as advertised. They do not say that these screens only work if you have a deep super. I bought two and installed on my two medium supers and then the robbing started! Bees could come and go from several places because the screens do not fit tightly on my medium supers. Plus one of the push pin broke off so there was even less ability’s to install the screen tightly.In my emails between the company and me, they will not refund my money, even tho I sent the, pictures of the problem. Bad customer service. It’s a good idea and could work. I treated with hopguard for mites and started a robbing frenzy. Reduced hole. Mailed to Amazon for the plastic screen. Got it. Removed entry reducer totally. Installed plastic screen. Robbing got under control, but bees bearded for 2 days. Removed plastic screen to check. 300 dead bees piled up blocking entrance. Couldn't see them thru the white plastic.
