For the taste: the purple colored (Violet) flavor is very subtle ... I couldn't tell it was violet yet could taste a slight hint of flowery/fruity finish on the hard, sugar candy. The white rose candy had a nice taste and it was very good, emitting a good rose flavor. The size of the candies are cute and they are shaped like a flower. About the size of a large thumbnail. The candy is very thin on the outer edges and a slightly thicker mound towards the middle. A nice shape to fit your mouth, being about as thick as a Necco wafer, yet a lot smaller in diameter. The candies are hard sugar...resembles Jolly Ranchers with the smooth mouth-feel (as opposed to a Life Saver which is not as hard a candy and not as dense), except a lot smaller, of course. I wouldn't give these to very young children because they could easily get caught in throat (as would any small, hard candies). Would I order again? Not at this price and not for the violet, which was disappointing. I would look forward to just the White Rose flavor if it were a lower price.
