WOW! They have a nice finish, so the wood doesn't "stick" like you'd expect. The bristles are incredibly soft, as my dentist recommended, and SO fine! It takes less effort to clean between teeth, because the bristles get in deeper, but don't hang up; or shed. They are also quite small, like the nicer brand-name brushes- so you can reach further back. I will be purchasing these again, and again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great non-plastic alternative! Takes some getting used to though. *by G***N on July 25, 2018* Eco-friendly people unite! These brushes are a perfect first step to cutting down on non-recyclable plastic. Even the box and the dyes in the box are biodegradable! The bristles are soft and seem to do a good job at getting all the plaque off of my teeth. Also these are super affordable for 4 of them!Downsides are that the feeling of the bamboo takes some getting used to. It’s not the same smoothness you’re expecting with a plastic toothbrush. Another one is that the bamboo sometimes has ‘splinters’ where a little bit of the wood sticks up due to it swelling. This can be kind of uncomfortable but if you find the splitter and tear it off/sand it down with a nail file you should be fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Different than I'm used to, but pretty great *by A***L on April 7, 2018* I've seen a bunch of reviews stating how these bristles are really soft or too soft...I do not agree. These are not as soft as the "soft" toothbrushes I've purchased in the past. I as worried at first that they would be too hard, but the narrow shape and stiffness of the bristles seems to be really effective at cleaning along the gum line and between teeth without being too hard for my sensitive gums. Since using these, I feel like the ph of my mouth stays fresher longer and my teeth are whiter.
