A: Not glass but BPA-free Tritan plastic

**Q: It's important to me to know exact height from countertop to top of lid. I see two different previous answers**
A: The height from the counter to the top of lid is 20 1/2 inches.  I have been using the blender mostly for smoothies. Works great!

Appears good value fof the price and motor. arrived next day. Sturdy piece of kit with large jug. lid was a bit stiff to tighten/ lock. Blends to smooth consistency. (I blended foods like kale, apple and ginger. liking the intensity dial. Noise isn't too loud (compared to my ninja) Overall I'm happy & would recommend
