It's very sturdy, and is constructed well. The pocket in front is nice and large, to hold any variety of utensils, towels, or notepads. Strings are nice and thick, solid to grab and easy to tie around your waist. I'm 5'10", it reached down to my mid-shin, so it's pretty long. I will be honest, I used this for a The Bear costume- so it hasn't seen any kitchen use. I did however wear it for an entire Crossfit class workout (Halloween), and it held up the entire time.
