It’s a really simple way to make a normal campfire feel a little more special. What I liked most is that it’s very easy to use. You do not open the packets, just throw them straight into the fire. Each packet lasted a decent amount of time and worked well in a regular wood campfire. A couple small tips: • Works best once you already have a good hot fire going. • Keep the packets dry until you use them. These fire color packets were a fun addition to our campfire and the colors showed up really well. The kids had a great time tossing them in and then sitting back to watch all the different colors appear in the flames. They were very easy to use and created a fun atmosphere for the evening. The color effects lasted around 15 minutes for us, which was still long enough to enjoy, and then began to fade out. I would recommend making sure you throw the packets into the center or hottest area of the fire instead of the edges for the best results. There was no bad smell, smoke problem, or mess afterward, and overall they worked really well for a family campfire night.
