A: Yes, this fits my 8" bowls really well. Maybe they meant 11 ounces, haha. This is very light.

I thought at first that I had to exchange it for a larger size since the bowl did not fit. Once I found the zipper to take out the cushion inside...whalla!! the bowl was in with no problem. It would help to have some diagram to know what to do.
