Had to go online to get suggestions on what the issue was. Found out and fixed the problem, dislodged card; this appears to be very common. Once fixed the machine operated but the 'lag' between input on the controls made the games exceptionally difficult and in fairness disappointing to play. Choose to return the machine for a full refund. Overall the choice of games and build quality all appear good but the playability is not there due to the lag issues. I will be looking at other options but from what i have found out, the lag on the emulated games is a common issue.
