Review: works for the 3 T8 linear lamp, easy to install - Bought this to replace the old ballast that broke after 15 years of usage. The ballast is for 3 T8 linear lamps. The connection wires are very long. I cut the wires to the appropriate length to remove the old ballast and install the new one to the existing lamp hood. The process took probably about 10 minutes. The lights are working again.

It is a generic electronic ballast for fluorescent/LED light fixtures that aren't sealed and still use individual tube bulbs. It replaced an electronic ballast that had failed and prevented good bulbs from lighting up. This ballast was designed to handle three bulbs, but I only needed to light two. The wiring diagram on the ballast clearly showed what to do with the extra wires. I would buy it again. But the product description on desertcart could have explained the ballast's three-bulb capability better so I would not have been so surprised when I opened the packaging.

It worked! Can't say much more. It is a generic electronic ballast for fluorescent/LED light fixtures that aren't sealed and still use individual tube bulbs. It replaced an electronic ballast that had failed and prevented good bulbs from lighting up. This ballast was designed to handle three bulbs, but I only needed to light two. The wiring diagram on the ballast clearly showed what to do with the extra wires. I would buy it again. But the product description on Amazon could have explained the ballast's three-bulb capability better so I would not have been so surprised when I opened the packaging.
