A: There is not a function on the clock that will allow you to adjust the volume to a lower level for the radio alarm feature.

A: Yes

A: No. the dimmer control will not turn off the display completely.

**Q: does the clock radio have an american or an european outlet plug? and is it in brand new condition?**
A: American outlet plug and yes, it is in brand new condition.  The speaker quality is not the best... a bit harsh.
