And yes, they are silent but mostly because they move about half the air a stock fan does. I used these to replace the fans on my Ender 3 and the result was nothing but problems. It doesn't cool the heat sink of the hot end enough causing filament to bulge before it reaches the hot end. This results in under extrusion and extruder skipping because it needs a lot more force to push the filament through the hot end.
