Review: Reliable in a pinch - We've had the Royal Gourmet for a few months now. You can tell by the "wear" that we use it fairly often. This morning lightening hit our house and we lost power. We'll I must have coffee so I got out the 'ole percolator and used the grill to make coffee. Not bad. This was my first time using the grill without my husband and I gotta say, it was very easy to operate. It makes fantastic burgers and brats and we are looking forward to taking it camping and trying baked potatoes. It is a bit of a chore to clean. The brown residue is left over burger, I tried to convince my husband to cook on tinfoil but he chose not to so we have residue. It has handles but takes 2 of us to transport and we use it on a cheap folding table. All together I would definitely recommend this grill.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can added grates/griddle be purchased to use for all one cooking style for all four burners?**
A: Yes, they told me in an email, the grates are $35 each. I didn't ask about the griddle.

**Q: Can this be mounted on a boat pedestal mount?**
A: I wouldn't.  Although you could probably fabricate a mount, the unit would be awkward to use.  It's fairly big and bulky.

**Q: will metal spatulas scratch the surface?**
A: No!  I have used both Stainless steel and plastic on my grill and no scratches

**Q: Is it possible to use 1 lb propane tanks?**
A: Not that I know of.  Standard 20lb tanks and bigger.
