It fits as they say, for cup, mug, or pot. While it steeps, I cover everything with a napkin to hold in the heat. I agree with the reviewer who noted that the cap, if applied the way the company suggests, does not keep your table from getting wet when you take the infuser out. Instead, use the cap like a little top hat on the infuser, and then when you put it down, the condensation is on the correct side. It is very easy to remove the tea leaves and cleans well just by rinsing. I was most excited to find out that it works as well for coffee! It is the perfect combo between a french press, a k-cup, and melita methods. It makes a wonderfully strong brew with less coffee than I was using in my french press - and so much easier to keep clean and acid-free - with no waste - and it is so portable. Just a wonderful discovery all around.

After using a different infuser and having it break after one use, I decided to look for something else. I saw this and figured I’d give it a try. I was very impressed. It’s well made and durable. The mesh thickness kept the tea leaves intact and it fits well over a wide variety of mug sizes. It also came with a little tray to rest on. It cleans up easily too. It came in a pack of two. I liked it so much that I gave the second one away to a friend.
